Jackson wins NBA Coach of the Year Honors
The Bulls completed an amazing 1995-6 regular season by
winning an NBA record 72 games. They became the first team in NBA
history to reach 70 wins when they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks
86-80 on April 16th.
Earlier this season Bulls star Michael Jordan discussed the
difficultly of staying focused during the quest for seventy wins.

Coach Phil Jackson has often stressed the importance of
making sure that the potentially volatile Dennis Rodman keeps his

The Bulls completed a clean sweep of the Miami Heat with a
resounding 112-91 victory on May 1st in Miami. Scottie
Pippen finally stepped up to literally take the load of Michael
Jordan's back. Pippen posted the first triple double of the
playoffs with a 22 point, 18 rebound, and 10 assist game.
